Case study #4 Africa - Hotel Rwanda (Cause and Effect)

The Silence of UN and discord of racism
transplanted by the West,
Rwandan Genocide
                                                  How did the genocide happened
Rwanda's 100 days of Genocide (*Video made by BBC*)

80 thousands of Rwandan citizens had died for around 100 days by hellkites.

Thousands of people had massacred viciously.
Hutu and Tutsi
For keeping their power, Hutu desperately opposed one of execution on treaty taking over the alike tribe with terrible massacre.

Hutu and Tutsi are definitely alike. They had lived peacefully officially until 15th century. Hutu were 85% of Brundi. On the other hand, Tutsi were 15% of Brundi. Their story had well known as Rwandan Genocide. Before gunshots, Hutu and Tutsi often married not not caring anything about tribes. They were totally unware of tribes. However, what brought this slaughter? In the movie Hotel Rwanda, the President of Rwanda was believed to be dead by Tutsi. The President of Brundi and the President of Rwanda had died in an airplane crash in Kigali. Both were belonged in Hutu. It actually brought that slaughter. Hutu started to catch Tutsi while Tutsi started to take Hutu. At the same time, fierce civil wars were outbroken between the government military force occupied by Hutu and Rebel forces occupied by Tutsi.

One of the main reasons why the Genocide frightened Rwandan citizens and lasted around one year was by media. That is still one of major problems that our world couldn't figure it out. The words were swollen like pop-corns.
Another major reasons bringing that serious massacre was the silence of UN. UN was the only hope for Rwandan citizens. And the hopes were trampled.
Above all things, Hotel Rwanda shows what apathy can effect desperately.  As I presented on Eyes on Africa, affectionate care needs in all ages.
