"Rome wasn't built in a day;
We can believe in the White House;
Everything's cool, go away"?
Capitol Hill, is gonna crumble,
Falling apart at the seams.
We're mighty tired of seeing you stumble;
You're crushing the American dream.
How many cries will convince you
People are going insane?
Though you keep preaching of freedom,
All of your talk is in vain.

Who in the world can we turn to?
Who can we truly believe?
Who really cares what we've gone through?
Who understands? Who gives a damn what we need?
Maybe there's hope for the future;
Hope for the red, white and blue;
Long as we trust in each other,
There's so much more we can do.
Who in the world can we turn to?
Who can we truly believe"
Who understands what we've gone through?
(Who really cares what we need?)
Who really cares what we need?
(Who gives a damn what we need?)
Who gives a damn what we need?
How can you say what you want to say?
How can you be what you want to be?

2. Why did you choose this artifact, and how much time did you spend creating and or processing it?
I spent almost a day for creating this artifact. I think that's because i don't have any basic backgrounds of America. By searching, reading, organizing, i learned what American dream means first. And, i applied my ideas to make my own travel company. I did try for not using any professional or modern ways of everything such as transportation,accommodation, even advertisement. To try for offering real experience like 19th century took too much time to me. However, i do like the ways of applying my informations like this. Even though that's true that i spent lots of time to make this, it doesnot mean that i didn't enjoy it. If i don't enjoy making this artifact, i maynot choose it.
3.What insights and understanding have you gained from the creation and/or processing of this artifact?
First of all, I totally got the meanings of the American Dream. When Mr.K first mentioned about American Dream in the class, I didn't acturally know the meanings of that. I thought that may just the peaceful combination with Americans. Through this artifact, i learned that the aspects of the American Dream are various still now. To foreigners, native americans, the statesman of other countries and so on. To native Americans, the American dream was the way to improve the ability to manage. That causes class society. On the other hand, to foreigners, it was the only hope to make money. That makes people more diligent. And, i tried to make offer as similar as real 19th centuries for my travel company. That's why i surf for the real informations about eating and advertisement of 19th centuries, real offering service in the Museum and so on.(http://advertising.harpweek.com/ - advertising..

4.Does this artifact reflect your best work and/or ideas? Why, or why not?
I think i reflect my kind of best work.It is natural for students to search for informations. While i was searching for the informations, the think just came to me. "What if we travel from now for finding the remaining documentaries or evidences of the American Dream?" And, i did invent my new way.
5.Rate this artifact on a scale of -5 to 5(0 is neutral) for the following 4 criterion:
